ROFL THE TAIGA HOLE I remember reading about this on sankaku complex way back when. I can’t believe you haven’t used it…
I’d love to go to comiket, revitalize that feeling of amazement at an anime event that I used to feel at otakon.

This was really fun to listen to, especially since I’ve never really looked up information about Akihabara before. I didn’t realize that maid cafes were such a recent type of business. Comiket also seems like it’d be so overwhelming, and I hope that whenever I do, I have a good friend with me

Surprised me too. Then again, looking back, I don’t think Kimagure Orange Road or any other “classic” anime had maid cafe episodes.

Great podcast as always. I always learn something when I listen to your podcasts.
The background sound effects really add o the overall quality too. I heard some Catherine, Mawaru Penguindrum and Lucky Star sound effects in there.
